si, mi primer temblor! i was sitting in the office today when suddenly i heard/felt this deep thump, and the floor beneath my chair dipped and swayed. the whole house creaked and everything trembled for a split second, and that was it. back to normal. i can't believe that people can experience these things and not freak out! other natural disasters are different: you can always run from a tornado or a storm, but an earthquake is all around you. it's so pervasive, there's nowhere you can hide from it. that's what freaks me out about these "temblores" ...although the only thing my reaction seems to accomplish is to give everyone here a good laugh.
