happy chilean independence day! who knew there were so many chileans in boston? evidently there's an enormous network that i can tap into to keep up on my chilean slang. perfect! i was so psyched to find that all the expats had put together an enormous festival for the holiday. and to think that i almost missed it. thanks, patricio, for tipping me off.

celebrating las fiestas patrias con unos chilenos verdaderos reminded me just how much i miss the country, my friends, and my time there. un feliz dieciocho de septiembre a todos, mis santiamiguitos! les echo muchisimo de menos...espero el momento en que podre volver y visitarles de nuevo.
